This month, we’re launching a new blog feature – Ask Me Anything! In this series, we’ll take a frequently asked question and answer it in depth here on our blog. Today, we’re digging deep into the differences between our verandas.
At Verde Garden Living, we’ve taken great care to create a collection of outstanding verandas, (AKA pergolas and glass rooms), each with their own qualities and benefits. Here, we’ll summarise each, as well as highlight aspects shared by all our products.
TO FULLY CUSTOMISE YOUR VERANDA, CHOOSE..
Bosco
This bestselling modular style is truly bespoke - available in multiple widths and depths, allowing you to interlink the structure and create a glass room in virtually any width. You can also specify the look and style of your guttering and posts, as well as more standard choices of colour, lighting and wall/door options.
Pigato
This high end style is made of aluminium with a steel reinforced gutter profile, and is also available in several widths as standard, so it can be endlessly extended. As with the Bosco, you can choose between different post shapes, so it’s another very customisable model.
IF YOU’D LIKE AN ADJUSTABLE ROOF, CHOOSE..
Pinela
We have three Pinela models – the Pinela, Pinela Louvred and Pinela Deluxe. If you’d like adjustable roof options, choose louvred or deluxe – both are operated by remote control to make switching up your glass room a breeze. The louvred model has revolving panels, which rotate up to 120 degrees, so you can chase the sunshine - or adjust to sit in the shade. And the deluxe? This takes things a step further – its retractable roof provides the full convertible effect! There’s also extra embedded technology, so the roof panels press on the integrated beams during closing, ensuring excellent insulation.
Verdeca
This model sports a canvas roof, adjustable by remote control. The sun and water-resistant roof covering is robust and strong, and the veranda frame is cleverly designed with an anti-draft system to prevent wind from entering between the canvas and rain gutter.
FOR AN UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW, CHOOSE…
Giallo
This clever veranda has a reinforced gutter profile, so it can be mounted on just two posts with span of up to 6 metres. The perfect way to enjoy an unencumbered view.
Pigato
This model comes with a clear safety glass roofing, allowing for year-round star gazing (or spotting the Northern lights, as so many people seem to be doing this autumn!).
FANCY A FREE-STANDING PERGOLA? CHOOSE..
Pinela
The Pinela can be installed as a free-standing structure on four legs (although you can also choose for it to be attached to a wall on two legs). This model has LED lighting as standard, and gives great ‘poolside pergola chic’ vibes, if you’re after a particularly sophisticated look.
Ribolla
This model is also available as a free-standing veranda (but can be placed against a wall if you prefer). The Ribolla’s highest point is at the front of the structure, with gutters and drains neatly concealed at the back, making for a sleek, elegant appearance.
WANT THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE FRAME? CHOOSE...
Nebbiolo
The Nebbiolo features heavier construction than you usually find in this price range. The intermediate beams are fitted with aluminium top frames instead of rubbers, making the structure sturdy and robust. Perfect if you live in a windy or exposed spot.
AND WHAT ABOUT FEATURES THAT ALL OUR MODELS HAVE IN COMMON?
Whilst we’ve been celebrating the differences in our Deponti range, there are many similarities across the collection: an aluminium frame, options to add glass/solid walls and glass doors, and finishing touches like LED lighting and frame colour. We can also recommend extra features like grillo panels, keyframes, wind breakers and concrete post supports.
And don’t forget, no matter which model you decide on, when you choose us you’re shopping with a team who have a wealth of knowledge and experience, backed by a family-run building company with a strong history of building and installing garden products. We offer free delivery, a full installation service if you need it, and for a limited time, we’re also offering a free bespoke in-person survey, usually worth £350. We’ll go through each and every detail to make sure you’re happy with your purchase.
