Price is usually the first question people ask. But it’s also the wrong place to start - and here's why.
A well-designed aluminium veranda is far from simply a garden accessory. Instead, it's a permanent architectural addition to your home, engineered to last decades and used in every season. Chosen carefully, it can also add significant value to your home. Understanding what goes into the price makes it much easier to choose the right one for exactly how you live.
Our own range: built the way we think a veranda should be
After more than 30 years in the industry, we know what customers really want from a veranda - and that's exactly what shaped the Verde range. We've partnered with a leading manufacturer to develop a focused collection with one standout model per roof type, each specified to a level we're genuinely proud of.
Verde verandas use 3.5mm aluminium profiles (more than double the 1.5mm used by many other brands) with thicker posts for superior stability, double glazing on selected roof and sliding door options, and premium spec doors as standard, complete with full frames, inbuilt brushes, and lockable handles. It's the kind of detail that makes a difference every day.
The Verde Oasis (poly roof, from £2,799) and Verde Eden (glass roof, from £3,799) are our most popular starting points – beautifully finished structures that look great against almost any home. The Verde Serenity canvas roof veranda (from £5,799) brings a softer, more relaxed aesthetic, while the Verde Elegance (our bioclimatic louvre roof model) starts from £8,999 and represents everything we've learned about year-round outdoor living in one structure.
The Deponti range: more models, more configurations
For customers with specific requirements - a detached pergola, a particular size, or a more architectural brief - we also stock the full Deponti range. Deponti is a well-regarded European manufacturer with a broad collection that gives us far more flexibility on configuration.
Entry points include the Nebbiolo (from £2,099) and Bosco (from £2,299), with glass roof options like the Giallo (from £3,299) and Pigato (from £3,999) sitting in the mid-range. The Trebbiano, Ribolla and Verdeca (from £6,499–£6,799) offer a more architectural feel.
The bioclimatic tier
At the top of the range sit the bioclimatic louvre roof verandas, and they deserve their own category. A bioclimatic veranda uses motorised, adjustable aluminium louvres to give you complete control over light, airflow, and shelter. Open them on a warm day for dappled shade; close them fully when the weather turns. It's the closest thing to a year-round outdoor room without building an extension.
The Verde Elegance starts from £8,999. For those drawn to the Deponti bioclimatic collection, the Pinela Louvered starts from £9,799, with the exceptional Pinela Deluxe (featuring integrated glass options and a premium specification) from £13,799.
Is it worth it?
Research consistently suggests that a quality outdoor living structure can add between 5 and 15% to a home's value - and that's before you factor in the years of use you'll get from it. Compared to a conservatory (which typically costs more, takes longer, and requires planning permission), a veranda is often the smarter choice.
